Proviene de granjas en el sur de Brasil (Rio Grande do Sul) y se somete a un innovador proceso de curtido sin cromo, metales pesados o ácidos peligrosos. Al simplificar el proceso de curtido, se limita el uso de químicos y energía, reduciendo el consumo de agua en aproximadamente un 40% y el uso de sal en un 80%. Luego del curtido, el agua es reciclable.
