El suede es la parte inferior del cuero, lijado para ofrecer una textura suave y agradable. Proveniente de granjas en la región de Rio Grande do Sul, se procesa en Brasil sin químicos dañinos ni prohibidos. VEJA utiliza tintes que cumplen con regulaciones y prioriza el uso responsable del agua. Este suede es tratado con aceites repelentes al agua, libres de PFC, para proteger las zapatillas de la lluvia ligera.
